ARUNDEL COULTHARD "PRESTO"

This mower is believed to be quite a rare one - the Company were more well known for their Hand Mowers. It is powered by the ubiquitous Villiers 98cc Two Stroke engine. The machine was bought in a completely derelict state and was "locked up" solid! The restoration went without any real hitches, the only problem being the actual dismantling which was due to it's condition. A spare engine and mag. came with the mower as the original engine was seized and was without it's magneto. I have had to have new wooden front rollers and handles made, and had to fit a clutch cable. A new Grassbox had to be made using the above picture as the only reference source.
