  AUSTIN SEVEN RUBY FIXED HEAD SALOON 1935

 

This car is Number 222581 and was built in May 1935. This model differs from the De lux in that it was not fitted with Chromium bumpers, sun visor or sunroof. A small hatch took the place of the sunroof , commonly referred to as a Smokers Hatch. Only a small proportion of Rubys were supplied to this specification.  This car is featured in The Austin Seven Source book by Bryan Purves
